HGB-4S Garlic Grading Machine by HUAYO GARLIC can shake extra soil, Convey , and grade 4-5 tons of Solo Garlic with 5 sizes automaticlly. 

Ideal for large garlic farms and processing companies. It removes extra impurities via a vibrating screen, then automatically lifts garlic to the sorter. The sorter uses durable PVC belts (no garlic damage) and sorts garlic into 6 sizes by vibration—high efficiency. Handles 4-5 tons per hour automatically.

Core Functions

• Efficient Impurity Removal: Equipped with a built-in vibrating screen, it quickly shakes off excess soil, broken leaves, and other impurities attached to the garlic surface. This reduces pre-processing steps before subsequent cleaning or processing, lowering labor costs.
• Automatic Conveying & Lifting: After impurity removal, the garlic requires no manual handling—the machine automatically lifts it to the sorter’s feed inlet. This enables seamless connection between processes, preventing garlic damage or secondary contamination during transfer.
• Precise Multi-Size Grading: The sorter’s core component uses durable PVC belts. On one hand, the soft yet wear-resistant belt material minimizes collision damage to garlic during sorting, preserving the garlic’s intact appearance. On the other hand, based on the vibration screening principle, it automatically sorts garlic into 6 size grades with high precision, meeting the segmented needs of different markets for garlic specifications.

• Processing Efficiency: It can stably handle 4-5 tons of garlic per hour, adapting to the post-harvest centralized processing needs of large farms and the mass production rhythm of processing companies, effectively preventing garlic from piling up and deteriorating.
• Application Scenarios: Specifically designed for large garlic farms (to meet the demand for large-scale sorting after harvest) and garlic processing companies (to satisfy the specification screening needs before deep processing). It can be integrated into automated production lines to improve overall processing efficiency.

The Garlic Grading line includes three main parts: 

Firstly, Cleaning & Inspecting. Our machine removes scrap, third grade bulbs, stones and soil before drying and storing.

Secondly, Conveying Garlic to Grading Machine

Thirdly,  the Garlic Grading Machine has drum with designed hole size to sort the garlic into sizes.

The  Garlic Sorting Line includes the following 3 machines.  the whole line is 9m long, and can process 3-4 tons of Garlic in one hour.

a. Cleaning & Inspecting

The Garlic Shaking Machine removes impurities, cleaning dust, inspect every single damaged, diseased or otherwise bad clove or entire bulb.

b. Conveying.

Belt conveyor will convey garlic bulb to Grading machine automaticlly.

c. Garlic Head Grading 

The Garlic Grading Machine will sort Garlic head with 5 sizes.  There is handle on the outlet to control the Garlic unloading .

You can hang on bags to the outlets and collect garlics automaticlly.

Our garlic grader can be adapted as number of sizes as needed to optimize the crop marketing.

The Garlic processing Line can sort Solo Garlics with good performance.

We install PVC Belt with holes for the  Garlic Grading Machine.  The hole sizes are customized according to your need.

The size of the single clove Garlic varies from approximately 25 to 50 mm in diameter, with an average size between 35 and 45 mm.

For example,  We can make the Grading Machine with 2.5cm, 3cm, 3.5cm, 4cm, 4.5cm

The Solo Garlic will fall through the right holes to the belt precisely, and then unload to the bags.
