Precautions & Efficiency Tips for Garlic Brush Washing Machine
(For removing dirt and loose outer skin on garlic bulbs/cloves)
1. Raw Garlic Preprocessing Before Brushing
- Shake off large clumps of mud manually first. Thick chunks of soil will stick to brushes and reduce cleaning effect.
- Do not feed overly wet garlic directly. Mud becomes sticky when wet, hard to brush off and will clog brush bristles. If garlic is muddy, air-dry slightly beforehand.
- Separate tangled garlic bulbs; clustered garlic cannot make full contact with the brush rollers, leaving dirt and skin untouched.
2. Machine Operation Skills to Boost Cleaning Effect
- Feed garlic evenly and steadily. Overloading causes stacking; garlic rubs against each other instead of the brushes, resulting in incomplete cleaning.
- Set a moderate brush roller speed. Too fast scratches garlic skin; too slow cannot scrub off stubborn dirt and residual husks.
- Keep the built-in air blower running during work. It blows away fallen mud dust and loose garlic skin instantly, preventing debris from wrapping around brush rollers.
- Adjust the gap between brushes according to garlic size. Narrow gap for small garlic, wider gap for large elephant garlic, to ensure every garlic surface gets brushed thoroughly.
3. Daily Maintenance to Keep Stable Cleaning Efficiency
- Clean all brush rollers and the waste collection box after every work shift. Mud and garlic husks stuck in bristles greatly weaken friction power.
- Check brush bristles every week. Replace flattened, worn brushes on time—old soft brushes fail to scrub off stubborn dirt.
- Clean brushes with room-temperature water only. Hot water or strong detergent will harden and damage nylon bristles, shorten service life. Dry brushes fully before next use.
- Lubricate roller bearings regularly to avoid machine vibration, which leads to uneven cleaning.
4. Forbidden Operations
- Do not run the machine without turning on the air blower. Accumulated mud and skin block brushes quickly.
- Never put garlic with excessive mud straight into the machine without pre-cleaning.
- Do not adjust brush gaps or open machine covers while power is on.
- Avoid long-time empty running without garlic, which wears down brushes rapidly.
